Jalissa Marie Nesmith Scholarship – Cards for a Cause Fundraiser
Greetings! Many of you are aware of the Jalissa Marie Nesmith Scholarship Fund. For the last 9 years our family has given scholarships to Schenectady High School Seniors who are graduating and continuing on to college. Our scholarship is geared towards the purchasing of their books.
In an effort to give away two scholarships for the 2018—2019 graduating class, we are having a Cards for a Cause Fundraiser through Usborne Books and More. For every box of cards sold, the scholarship fund will receive $13. Each box is $30. This averages out to $1 per card. This year, there are 5 different boxes to choose from. The newest box is a 50 card assortment of Holiday Cards, for the same cost of the 30 count. The variety of cards available this year is truly delightful, you will be very pleased with your options.
With continued contributions from you, we are able to aid a student in their academic journey, bring attention for the need to stop bullying in our schools, as well as, open up discussions regarding suicide prevention.
Let’s make the 2018-2019 Jalissa Marie Nesmith Scholarship year an even bigger success!!
